The name is to be taken literally and refers to ‘responsible grown ups’, which is a sarcastic take on the fact that most people involved in the community and culture of skateboarding are grown men and women that spend their time playing with skateboards, which are primarily a child’s past time and by the wider world are seen as immature or childish. The website name derives from people shouting ‘grow up’ at you from their car window when they see you skateboarding in your 30s and 40s. NO PERVERTED OR INDECENT CONTENT, shops and offices have trouble accessing and buying my product. Please lift the restrictions as it effects my income”
