Thanks for your request.

The BBFC examined http://simkl.com on 19/07/2021.

It is a site which recommends films and TV series, and tracks what the user
has watched via a downloadable app. It has a particular focus on anime.
The site provides links to legal streaming services where users who
subscribe to those services can watch the titles. Among the themes that
users can filter their searches with are ‘pornography’, ‘incest’ and
‘sexual abuse’. Additionally, we found embedded YouTube trailers which we
would rate at least 18. Consequently, we recommend that adult filters
continue to be applied.


We will inform the mobile network operators of this decision.
